
Warren First Selectman Jack Travers, who also serves as Warren’s superintendent of highways, is an experienced veteran when it comes to representing his town. From 1989 to 1999, Travers was a selectman, and he also served on the town’s board of finance for five years. His work experience includes 13 years managing an energy company and five years with a property management firm. Travers, who served as on alternate on the TROC board when he was a selectman, is a big fan of dirt-track auto racing (he has been working on race cars for 40 years). He and his wife, Constance, have lived in Warren for nearly three decades.
