Acceptable Curbside Recycling Materials

Newspaper (in brown paper bag), Cardboard (corrugated only), Magazines, #1 & #2 Plastics, Food & Beverage glass, Metal Cans, Trash (residential), Grass clippings (leave on lawn), Brush.  No stumps.

Accepted at Town Recycling Center

Cardboard (corrugated only), Magazines, Scrap Metal (appliances), Trash (residential), Waste Oil, Anti-Freeze, Brush (less than 3' and tied).

Recycle Drop off Charges

Motor Oil - No Charge

Anti-Freeze - No Charge

Leaves:  OCT 1st through DEC 1st and APR 1st through JUN 1st.  No plastic bags.

Scrap Metal - $20 and up per item or per load

Appliance - $15 each

Batteries - $5 each

Tires:

- $5 each

- $15 each with rim

- $15 per truck tire (no rims on truck tires accepted)

Brush - $15 per yard

Mattress or Box Spring - $5 each

Boilers or Water Tanks - $15 each

Couches or Chairs - $10 each

Air Conditioners - $10 each

Refrigerators and Freezers - $20 each

Residential Construction Debris - $50 and up per load

Minimum load (miscellaneous) - $35

Household Garbage:

- $1 per small bag

- $2 per large bag

Shingles - $100 and up per load

Propane Tanks:

- $7 small (each)

- $35 large (each)

Toilets/Sinks (porcelain) - $5 each
